Our client: an international IT product company with offices in 18 countries is looking for candidates to fill in the position of Change & Release Manager
Work place: Kyiv, Ukraine.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Execute Release management for 9 systems which are under ITGS, which includes: organizing and holding release meetings, checking each release for compliance with requirements, cooperation with stakeholders to prevent issues in connected systems, processes after release deployment.
- Maintain release&deployment calendar.
- Consult team leaders about release process.
- Continuously improve release management process.
- Implement and execute change management process for corporate and business system, which includes: implement automation of changes management process on available systems (Heat, EPM, TFS) in cooperation with HEAT, TFS teams.
- Finalize draft of process and communication to all involved participants, prepare needed training documents and perform training.
- After process rollout execute role of Change manager: holding CAB and control change management process.
- Continuously improve change management process.
- Information Technology 3-5 years
- Change & Release processes implementation,
- Experience of executing role of Change&Release manager, holding ITIL training in area of Incident/Service/Problem/Change management frameworks, experience in automation of these processes.
- ITIL V3, ISO 9000:2000, SDLC,
- English: upper-intermediate (fluent will be a plus)
- Heat system experience (would be a plus)
- Sharepoint development experience (would be a plus)
- CMDB implementation experience (would be a plus)
Position open due to transferring this position from HQ to Kiev office. Role of this position is very important to implement SOX’ITGS controls related to implementation any changes in IT infrastructure and corporate and business systems. Current amount of request for releases are nearby 35 per month. Change management process is in the beginning of implementation and required professional person to organize it. Current amount of request for changes are more than 100 per month. Without process and responsible person for changes processing work of developers’ teams are ineffective for meet business needs.
